For our 4th Through the Eyes of a Child workshop, we have chosen to visit READING
As you join Miss Lois on a journey into teaching reading to Pre-School and Kindergarten children, we will take off into a world of creativity and imagination, while looking at reading Through the EYes of Children
You will leave this workshop with the following tucked away in your suitcase:
1. Understanding the need to merge PHONICS & WHOLE LANGUAGE
2. Knowledge of HOW to build a LITERACY-RICH classroom
3. The importance of introducing your children to an ALPHABETEER
4. MANY FUN literacy games using an ELEPHANT, a CAR, a BALL, & ELMO
5. CREATIVE ideas of how to bring reading into your home
6. EZ bends and folds that will make numerous class books
